Rule

The Foundation is committed to frequent and informative communications about its work with the Edina community.

This is achieved in part by providing a regular "Strengthening Our Community" column for the quarterly About Town and About Business magazines that are mailed to over 25,000 households and 10,000 businesses in the City. The Foundation also ensures that its narrative Annual Report to the community is made available to virtually all Edina residents by including it as an insert to an appropriate issue of About Town. Spring 2007 Corporate Support, with a list of corporate and business donors during the prior year.
Winter 2007 30 Years of Service and Many Hopes for the Future, highlighting some of the people and programs that have contributed to the community since the Foundation was founded in 1977 (+2005-2006 Annual Report)
Autumn 2006 The Edina Dialogue, the announcement of the Foundation's new initiative to foster a sense of community by facilitating intergenerational discussion of diverse issues through cooperation with individuals and community organizations.
Summer 2006 A Common Thread Throughout the Community, which describes the impact of ten different programs offered or funded by the Foundation for Edina residents.
Spring 2006 Leaving A Legacy, which explains alternatives for benefiting the community through a multi-year pledge or a planned gift to the Foundation (+2004-2005 Annual Report)

Winter 2006 Our 2006 Calendar, with a month-by-month listing of Foundation sponsored or funded events planned for the coming year.

Autumn 2005 Investing in Our Community, describing the many ways in which the Foundation people, programs and resources worked together to strengthen our community during the prior year.

Summer 2005 The Community Programs for our Partners in Need, describing how we work with other area agencies to help those in need.

Spring 2005 A Guide to Living in Edina, with a listing of featured events and facilities that make Edina an exciting and interesting community.

Winter 2005 Meet Our Board of Directors, with a short biography of each of our 11 Board members that reflect their diversity and broad commitments to the community.

Autumn 2004 Neighborhood Associations, which describes the Foundation's interest in supporting such initiatives and the wide variety of programs and activities they offer.

Summer 2004 The Foundation's role as A Charitable Giving Partner for an increasing number of community organizations, as well as City departments.

Spring 2004 Our Focus on Youth, with a summary of the grants made during the year to the Connecting With Kids initiative, the Southdale YMCA Y-Lead summer day camp program, and the Rosland Grant-in-Aid Fund of the Edina Park and Recreation Department.

The Foundation also ensures that its Annual Report is made available to virtually all Edina residents by including it as an inert in an appropriate issue of About Town.
