    ongoing The Greatest Generation Veterans Exhibit will be on display at the Edina Historical Society through September, 2010. Edina Park Maintenance Superintendent Vince Cockriel supplied artifacts and memorabilia for the display from his extensive personal collection.

Southdale YMCA 5 For the Y
The "5 for the Y" race course starts just north of Braemar Ice Arena (near Golf Dome), circles around Braemar Golf Course, and ends back at the Ice Arena parking entrance. The 5k race is for all skill levels, but will be a professionally timed event for avid race enthusiasts. The 5k race starts at 9:00am sharp, and will be followed by a 1/4 mile kids run at 10:30am.
Prizes will be given out for the top 1st and 2nd men and women finishers for the 5k, and for all participants in the kid's fun run. Parking, restrooms, registration, and post-event festivities (music, food, and 500 DQ dilly bars!) will all be hosted at Braemar Ice Arena.
Register by July 30 online or in person at the YMCA Southdale, 7355 York Ave S, Edina.
